i used to live across from an old portugese couple. the husband was basically a dead guy with a license, and it used to take him just as long to park. he also didn't stop for any of the stop signs in the neighborhood. i don't think he was even aware that he was passing through an intersection.
whenever they'd get home, the wife would get out of the car and 'talk' the husband into the spot. it never worked and always ended with the husband screaming portugese expletives at her, at which point she'd just go inside to leave him to fend for himself. it was quite the scene. ford focus wagon. white. village rock lane, natick, ma. i wish i'd recorded one of their sessions.
