That's awkward
Earlier today ESPN broke news about rookie Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart and two others being killed in a broadside hit-and-run accident by a drunk driver with a criminal record who ran a red light. The 22-year old rookie made his season debut last night, pitching six scoreless innings. His dad flew out from Baltimore to see him pitch, and was still in California when he got the news.
Immediately after breaking the tragic news, ESPN cut to a commercial, one for ESPN's NASCAR coverage that glorified crashes.
