So I'm back from Tennessee
Fucking crazy and awesome at the same time.
Best Show: METALLICA - best live show I've ever seen. Pearl Jam was also incredible, they might have been my fave had I seen them first.
Most Disappointing Moment: Taking shrooms to see the Kanye glow in the dark show only for him to delay for 2 hours and me leaving and going to bed still fucking wacked.
Most shocking moment: seeing a guy no older than 20 asking random people for heroin
more details later, if my vids came through I should have some pretty sweet ones

And I don't get obsessive ben folds fans. he's ok, he doesn't do anything overly spectacular or different

No one else is throwing bows at the piano these days. And if they are they are ripping him off.

Re: So I'm back from Tennessee
I was quite worried that they would suck because they're older. But everyone around me said it was the best performance they ever saw them play.

even though metallica are older, they play just as good as ever.

Yeah that was a great setlist, I liked that they played some of the new stuff, even some garage inc stuff
It gives me hope for the new album

Pearl Jam setlist was dope too - Do the Evolution, All Along the Watchtower, Alive, Evenflow, Animal (which fucking rocked), ton of classics.

St. Anger was jawdroppingly awful. I couldn't even believe that was the same band. On the St. Anger tour they only played two songs from the album and while the songs were playing the crowd was pretty much silent.

Have you heard any of The Dreaming? I need to get their album. I doubt it's anything like their old stuff though.
Econoline Crush is another good one.

Re: So I'm back from Tennessee
Yeah, Econoline Crush is one of the Canadian bands I picked up from the brief time MuchMusic was broadcasted in Florida. The Devil You Know album is the best.
I just checked their Wiki and they're still together. Time to download stuff!

Yeah, I can really only listen to it once through. I dug it up after, like, five years, and fell in love with it again. It's since been put back into hiding. I listen to it in iTunes once in awhile though.
