Back from Daytona
Race was great, a lot better than last year, had a blast. Didn't see a single 240 there though
No nissans in the race to show pictures of, but there were some in the historic group that I got some pictures of, I <3 nissans

I'm kind of disappointed that this isn't a nascar event

Re: Back from Daytona
This is the Grand Am Rolex Series, right? Regarding the thread about some big forms of motorsport DIEING, this is the kind of racing I hope gets back to prominence in the US as a result of other series downsizing.
Re: Back from Daytona
Yeah, grand am. Race was awesome, 4 cars on the lead lap in DP all within 2 seconds at the finish, after 24 hours. Great passes for the lead all the way to the end.
Car count was a little lower than last season, but the attendance was better I would say

that was a pikes peak/rally car not a gt car lol
and vector was awesome talon, the factory is still there but I dont think they are currently making cars, not that i've heard about anyway. I drive by it sometimes though they have a W4 sitting outside
Re: Back from Daytona
That Suzuki was in Gran Turismo, though... which is what I was referring to originally. I can see where you thought I was referring to the ALMS classes, GT1 or GT2.

The two best cars in GT1 were both Mitsubishis. Fully modded GTO and the FTO LM Edition.

I wish they would have sold FTOs in the US, it's one DSM I would own.
