If any of the douche bags that beat guitar hero on hard put in half as much time trying to learn the real guitar, they'd be in a hit band and getting more ass than a toilet seat, rather than playing a plastic guitar in mom's basement.

i can't play guitar hero for shit, espescially if its a song i know on real guitar, because my brain automatically wants to play the real song.

i've never played guitar hero, but i've heard it's a good party game.

i like it. i just wish what you played sounded like a cover of the song, not the actual song itself. by hitting the correct notes all you really do is keep the original song playing. it doesnt feel like youre playing it yourself at all.

i don't think i'd do well with those buttons on the neck, because they're not anything like a real guitar. i think, like talon and ry, i'd instinctively try to position my hands to play real notes.

I can't get my brain coordinated with the buttons. And if I have to push multiple ones, my weak-ass pinky fingers have shitty leverage.

The funny part is that while I can play Rock Band drums pretty well I'm to the point where I can see that actual theory is necessary to move any further.

sure it does. that's why everyone plays it. nobody would play it if it cranked out some karaoke version of the song.
