Bioshock
It's really awesome! I have been playing the game a lot this week. Superb graphics, very moody sound and an engaging storyline. I love the art deco touches.

Re: Bioshock
A lot of people really like it, and it's supposedly a good game.
However, I only played a little bit of it...it's supposed to be the spiritual successor to "System Shock 2" and made by a lot of the same people, which is one of the best video games ever made. However, Bioshock took SS2's plot and setting and basically copied it over, changing the settings to fit the time period, and heavily watered down the gameplay mechanics that made SS2 so great...so Bioshock did not even come close to capturing SS2. If I'd never played SS2, I might have liked Bioshock, but because I was expecting something else, I just can't get into it.

SS1 has got to be one the best games ever. SS2 is pretty good too. Sounds like I should pass on Bioshock.

Re: Bioshock
Didn't System Shock and Bioshock come out in 1995?

SS1 came out in '94. Bioshock is only a year old.
I remember there was a game called BioForge that was released around the time of SS1, though.

Re: Bioshock
I thought the old game might have been Bioforge. Maybe it was by the same software house, maybe it was by Bullfrog.
Whatever, I used to be with it.
