More and more it looks like McCain threw a wrench in it. He sat in the meeting for almost 2 hours not saying anything then his proposal was to basically give more corporate tax cuts, eliminate capital gains taxes and reduce regulations even more. He said it will allow Wall street to fix itself. BUT IT WONT! It will allow corporate greedhands with cash to buy up at depressed values these broken pieces keep more money out of the treasury and not help any Main street consumers/businesses. Not having to pay any taxes on the snap ups and face even less regulation. The man is a piece of work.

One good thing to come out of this...in Mississippi, where the debate is to be held, McCain supporters are pissed that he won't come and debate. They've been looking forward to the debates for months and some are even saying it's an insult to the state, and the southern states that support McCain and seem to be getting taken for granted.

Wouldn't it be interesting to see one of these states maybe start leaning blue after the weekend?

Mississippi will never vote for a black man

You never know. If a lot of Republicans there decide to simply 'not vote' because McCain pissed them off, there is a strong black population that'll go almost entirely to Obama. I think Mississippi will go Republican, but I also think it'll be a lot closer than people think. In fact I think that'll be the case in most southern states.
