I watched most of the Pittsburgh/Dallas game, and in that, Pittsburgh's offense was abysmal, but their defense was fantastic. I watched it at the laundromat until it was time for me to go about halfway through the 4th quarter. Dallas was up 13-6, and Pittsburgh was lucky to get those 6 points. I finished up my errands and the guy at the gas station asked what the score was when I last saw it...he was a Steelers fan and was crestfallen when I told him, but I said there were still 7 minutes or so left when I took off, and you never know.
Pittsburgh won 20-13. He'll be pleasantly surprised.

i expected the giants to lose within their first 3 plays... and then on 4th when they went for it i knew for sure...
too much happened this week.. besides they werent playing how they normally play, offense wasnt clicking and defense was horrible...

Carolina...phshhh....since they went to that Super Bowl vs. the Pats, they've been a lot of pundits' yearly sweetheart pick to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, and they've largely shit the bed ever year since then. IMHO, they're way overrated, and Delhomme would be a backup anywhere else...he's just lucky the Panthers haven't paid much attention to that position.

I was thinking man, I'd hate for the Bears to lose, but they could be nice and let Pierre Thomas and Drew Brees do some cool stuff for my fantasy team. They did, the Bears still won, and I scored 42 total fantasy points off of two players. And everyone's happy.

Since the Jeff Garcia years ended, they at least always had least a glimmer of hope each year that maybe they'd start rebuilding. Detroit never has that hope.
