I ruined the fiat
Bought tires, had tires installed, tried to cheap and put 195 50 16 on it instead of 195 45 16.
Fuel economy has been murdered and power is down. All this over a 10mm

Re: I ruined the fiat
Are you allowing for the difference in tire circumference in your MPG calculations?

Yes haven't went through a whole tank but it's gone from like 34/35ish to 30

Re: I ruined the fiat
Probably the brand/type of tire vs the size. Like the Prius and BRZ I bet the 500 comes with low rolling resistance tires, but I'm too lazy to check.
Re: I ruined the fiat
Best I can tell, only the electric 500 uses the low rolling resistance tires.
But the tires can make a difference. When I swapped out the Dodge's original Goodyear Eagles for Potenzas, the car was a lot better to drive, but it cut fuel economy by 2 MPG.

Makes no sense. Like when I switched from 18s to 17s with same overall diameter and the ride quality somehow deteriorated...

Re: I ruined the fiat
When I lifted my Legacy and put on oversize all terrains my MPG and power (not that there was any to begin with) didn't even change, oddly enough.
Did they come with any kind of test drive offer? Like, 30 days and if you're not happy you can get a different tire?
