Transportation Extravaganza
At the Illinois Railway Museum. Was there on Sunday with LX-R. Had a good time as usual. Here is some of the more interesting stuff I saw. LX-R has more pictures.
The Corvair Club had a good number of members there, we gave the Model A club a run for the money.
My one buddy brought his P1800ES instead of his Yenko Stinger
A few Vega's including two completely stock Cosworth Vegas.
A Type 2 T3 pickup.
Type 2 T1 Camper
Yugo GVX
Triumph 1800
International Travelall
1955 GMC Suburban Carrier Pickup
Deuce and a Half
'79 Lil Red Express Truck

Zuk's gonna jizz all over that Yugo.
Y'know, I've always been a big fan of the '55-'57 Chevy trucks, never seen a GMC version of the Cameo Carrier before. Liking that grille, would make a hell of a rat-rod, just need to put on a Chevy bumper. Yeesh.

Did you get a pic of that Studebaker Avanti behind the M35?
I didn't take any pics of any Studes, by that point my dads camera was pissing me off. There were two original Avantis and several Avanti IIs.
There were several things I wanted to take pics of that I didn't.

I see E-Types all the time, so I don't get gaga over them like I used too.
Unless it's a coupe, then it's a whole 'nother story.
