The Audi R8 V-10 Empty The Audi R8 V-10

Post by Les_Vipers_rule Mon Jul 25, 2011 6:00 pm

Most of us have a familiarity with the R8 and now V-10 variant. It is one of the elite sports cars that often seems to fly under the radar in a sea of Ferrari's, Lambo's, Porsche's, Corvette's, Viper's etc. etc. etc. Recently I have been reading up more and of course watching You tube videos like this one

Jeremy Clarkson of TOP GEAR loves the R8 V-10

I believe what Clarkson and others said that this is quite likely the finest performance car when one measures the whole package. It simply does anything and everything a performance car is asked to do very well. I have really taken a shine to this machine. The V-8 version is stunning but the V-10 takes it up another notch.

I even especially love the blue with silver blade colour in the video above.

My heart may still lie with the now defunct Viper and we have to wait and see what the next gen. Viper may look and be like. I hope FIAT does not Italianize the next Viper. But in reality the R8 especially V-10 model is a better car in any real life way.

The finest performance car made?

QUITE LIKELY!

Another cool video of the R8.

That's why we have so much choice in the world of cars.

A lot of auto reviewers and car guys think very much about this Audi. I know that if I had the bucks to get myself one it would be very easy to talk myself into buying one.

6 speed manual
Blue with silver blade
5.2 L V-10
Ceramic Brakes
5 Spoke wheels

In the voice of Homer Simpson when he did the "Mmmmmm Hot Wax!" Me on the Audi " Mmmmm Audi R8 V-10." :talon2:

I've seen a couple of them driving around. Pictures do not do them justice.

V12 Vantage for me. Not as good a car as its rivals, but you can get a manual and it will always be the best looking car on the block regardless of technology moving on.
911 would come last - I'd probably love them if they weren't so common. But they are...

I'm with Swerve on this one. Every time I think about my favorite car, an Aston Martin always seem to be at the top.
