RUH ROH!
My 360 decided tonight it would be cute and make the screen go fuzzy. after I turned it off and on a couple times, my TV decided to tell me "Mode Not Supported". By doing some research it looks as if the POS is overheating and is probably going to take a shit soon.

Don't do the blanket wrap unless you want it to work for a bit and then be ruined for good. Repairing the rrod isn't that tough and there are lots of tutorials online. I did mine over a year ago and it hasn't had any problems since.

Getting the case open is the only thing that's a pain about it. Once inside its just a matter of replacing the cheapo Microsoft epoxy fixing the gpu to the motherboard with high quality stuff and replacing the x clamps with nylon washers. After that its pretty much rrod proof.

I've been debating getting a slim. But that probably won't happen until Christmas.

Out of everyone here you'd expect ascona to be at the top of the heap of the people willing to do their own computer repairs, with as much as he used to talk about doing that sort of thing and all.

I thought about getting a Kinect, very briefly. I know it would probably end up sitting in the corner with 6 inches of dust on it.

Once I heard about Forza 4 head tracking, I knew I would be buying one eventually.
Re: RUH ROH!
If they don't fix the fucking right stick I'll be getting a Kinect as well for FM4.
It needs to be for gear changes like in FM2.

Wrap it in a blanket. Re-dry that circuitry.
