Holy shit, that driver had to have not been looking behind them at all the entire time. It not like the camera man isn't shining bright-ass lights in the direction of the reporter (and the Tahoe).

When I was in college, I delivered a big mess of pizza to a junior high basketball game. I parked on the street behind this minivan that was unloading a bunch of kids. I turned off my headlights but I turned on my hazards (this was a 1st-gen Taurus, so they were highly visible) and still had my Papa John's sign lit on the roof...I got out, grabbed the pizzas, walked around the front of my car, and about 2 seconds later, the guy in the minivan put it in reverse, and slammed right into the front of my car. He wasn't inching back, it was like he nearly floored it. Just 2 seconds earlier, and I would have been crushed.

That story would have been good for the "I almost died" thread we had. Don't know why I didn't think of it.

Because you'd have to admit to owning a Taurus. You have quite a list of shitty sedans in your past and present.

Yeah, but everyone here is fully aware of my legacy of shitty cars. I have no shame.

There was no damage, which surprised the hell out of me as the collision let out this huge bang. I've heard quieter gunshots. Being in work-mode, I wasn't even thinking about being shitty to anyone. It wasn't until I started walking into the school that it sunk in how close I was to getting smashed.
