Madden X
Two words: fucking awesome.
Still some glitchy AI stuff but hopefully it's sorted out in an update - it all seems pretty simple.
The animations themselves are incredible - the first time tackling has been truly realistic, and I've played Maddens 2004 through current.

Re: Madden X
This might actually make me re-up my live membership - let it lapse for the summer and because nobody on Rock Band has the same DLC.

Re: Madden X
Is it different enough from Madden 09 to justify spending 60 bucks?

Re: Madden X
Yes but I'm also a Madden junkie...
The coolest thing I've seen so far is gang tackling - it actually looks like a real tackle. And broken tackles now look broken for a reason, i.e. the angle was bad and he manages to stiff arm or avoid.
I also saw a play stopped by forward progress which I don't think I've ever seen.
Not to mention some of the control and menu idiosyncrasies are worked out. The menu works much, much better.
