sent in my letter of resignation today

My last day of Work is August 21st. I am moving back to vancouver before the end of August. I have absolutely nothing planned except a night class starting on September 14th.



I have been waiting for the day I get to leave this hell-hole since September 7th 2004 When I started classes at the UofA. Man am I a happy fucking camper right now.

She gave her notice last week as well. We are both leaving our jobs so that we can finally get the hell out of here.

For project-based work, completing the task before leaving is generally a pretty good idea. At least give them time to find someone to transition into your role. It certainly would help if looking to get any references.

Well. Most people only give two weeks because they fear being let go early if they give so much notice. I certainly was not worried about that. Besides, I want to keep a professional relationship with these guys. They are a large company and recommendations from them will help me down the road.
