I broke someone's brain

Post by JaysonAych on Sun Jul 08, 2012 10:20 pm

McDonald's has those dipped cones now so I ordered one from them, and I asked if instead of putting the soft serve on a cone if they could just put it in a cup and pour the chocolate over it like a sundae so I could just stick it in the car's cupholder for the drive home.

Back in high school when I worked at DQ, this was a very common request. Apparently I was the first person to ever make this request at McDonald's.

The person at the register says, "Uhhhh....I guess." Totally perplexed. But he didn't make the ice cream; someone nearby did and the register operator never told him what exactly I wanted, so he made me a standard dipped cone. So I told the second person what I told the register operator, and he was equally as perplexed. He was like, "....okay, I guess...I guess we can do that."

He pulls out a sundae cup, so he's holding the cup in one hand and the cone he just made in the other. He looks at the cup. He looks at the cone. He looks at the cup. Then back at the cone. He then turns the cone upside down and puts it in the cup, then offers it to me saying, "Is this what you wanted?"
