You can repaint race cars. You can't add to what's already there...you'll have to start from scratch, but you can repaint them and put on whatever you want.

well, that's good, because I had a couple simple ideas for livery on those C6R's.

and holy fuck those screens look good.

I hope it still has a good selection of cars, looking forward to it either way.

Night racing confirmed, dirt racing confirmed, open roads of Colorado confirmed, destructible scenery confirmed, racing to a concert confirmed, painting/livery editor confirmed, tuning.... maybe.

I don't like that it basically says you have to drive like an ass and drift and smash to get more 'cool points' so you get liked more and get more cash and better cars..... I might buy it just to fart around on the backroads.

I watched the preview today. Can't say that it excites me. Graphics look really good, but I'm not holding my breath for gameplay.

I was watching a video with Dan Greenawalt, and he said that this racing experience comes with "that legendary Forza authenticity." A few sentences later, he says this enables him to weave through traffic and go through fences. Ah, authenticity!

I'm still looking through a few things, but so far, I'm not impressed with what I've seen.

I may not buy it when it first comes out, but if I ever "finish" FM4, I'll pick it up to waste time before FM5 comes out next year. Unless something better comes along.

I think they are trying to dip into other racing markets to compete with NFS, but I'm just not that impressed. I'd rather just play NFS with their newly founded fucked up driving dynamics.

Although id rather it be a sim, ill still probably enjoy it. Midnight club Los Angeles was arcadey but the racing was still fun and there was lots of customization you could do, and the cars looked FANTASTIC.Even by 2011 standards, and this was back in 08.

There hasn't been a good NFS game since Porsche Unleashed.

I guess now that Turn10 got the license back, there won't be a rehash of NFS:PU.

Which was the only GOOD GAME they made that wasn't arcadey crap.

the original most wanted was pretty good. the story was sorta lame, but the objectives and the police chases were good. Pro Street was also pretty good, but not good enough for me to want to play more than maybe once or twice. The premise of Shift was good, as were the graphics, but the bullshit physics ruined it (as did the customization mapping that didn't allow stripes or graphics to line up correctly, or go across the full length of the car). so fucking frustrating. turn the aids off and not even a Cobalt will handle or put power to the road. all others since Porsche Unleashed sucked hard though. but then I (wisely) stopped playing after Shift. Undercover was probably the biggest abortion of a video game I've ever played.

MCLA was pretty alright too, but I lost interest in it eventually. It just didn't engage me the way most others do. The soundtrack was good though. There was a Social Distortion song on there that was really good, that I keep meaning to locate and procure.

I'm thinking they still don't have the license back. They're still sub-licensing it from EA, AFAIK.

Back before my EA boycott, I had a blast with NFS: Hot Pursuit 2. Of course, you had to be sure to get the PS2 version, as the XBox version had different programmers and it was shit.

Horizon doesn't even have cops in it. Some bullshit is what that is.

I haven't play Forza much since the last Xbox dashboard update screwed us wheel users.

They said they fixed it but.....

After a lap or two I'll be in mid-corner, wheel tugging back against the G-forces then all of sudden WHEE!!!!!!!!!! No Force Feed Back. Wheel feels like I'm driving a 1972 Buick.
Have to reset the wheel to get it back, then MAYBE it'll be fine for an hour or two, or I'll have to reset it again.

Makes me wonder what they're going to do with Forza 5. There'd be hell to pay if they didn't include these cars in the next game, but they're starting to run out of cars to put in these DLC packs. I've heard rumors that we might be getting one more car pack, and that'll be the end of the DLC.

Probably want people to save up for Horizon. I might pre-order it, just to get the DLC car from Forza4.

But why is the Subaru not getting any love? GT5 added the (Toyota 86 GT), but not the BRZ, and now Forza's adding the Scion FR-S, but not the BRZ. Is it a licensing issue?
The Boss and the ZL1 give me wood though. The Hyundai also pleases me.
