Difference between Balboni and 550-2
The Balboni was more expensive than the standard Gallardo while the 550-2 is cheaper. What's the difference apart from the 550-2 being build in unlimited numbers?

Re: Difference between Balboni and 550-2
maybe he means 560-4
in which case:
The standard Gallardo 560-4 is all wheel drive and has 560 (metric) horsepower, the Balboni is slightly detuned to 550, is rear drive only, is lighter by a quite substantial amount (not sure just how much at time of posting) thanks to jettisoning most everything it doesn't need to go fast (like the front differential and transfer case) and extensive use of carbon fiber; along with suspension upgrades. From all acounts in what I've read, it actually handles rather well--at least better than expected of a RWD Lambo with that much power. the Balboni also is quite a bit faster than the standard 560-4, but the 570-4 Superleggera is the fastest and best handling of all, thanks to even more carbon fiber usage/interior stripping/aerodynamic bits/suspension upgrades.
