Don't have a PS3, so....

I read yesterday that at E3, Sony said they're going to delay the actual GT5 game so that they can do more content for GT5: Prologue.

i picked up a gold at the suzuka 700 point race, but it took a week and a half of playing 90 minutes every day, and only on that track. i worked my way through a TON of cars trying to figure out which one would be the best for the situation, and a the tuned exige with all the settings maxed proved to be the one that worked for me. i got really lucky off the start, and managed to hunt down the leader on lap 4, and then managed to hold it together for a lap and half while coping with the shock of actually being in the lead...

it's funny, wally, because i go through these phases where i think i don't hate video games and want the newest game, etc., etc.

then, ultimately, the fetid breath of reality wafts across my nose and reminds me that all games are rigged and suck.

I'm the same way. I usually get my fix once a year or so by going out and buying a computer game or two.

Get back. Load it up. Play it. Within 2 hours I've got a headache and feel like shit. Maybe console games would be better. But I doubt it.

yeah Flight sims are cool. haven't played on in such a long time though. Mostly because I don't have a joystick. Or Joy. I like "Pirates!" and I'm a bit of a Civilization addict, although I have no idea where my CD went. :aris:

haha yeah I did once. They're pretty rare, and tough to capture. Usually I just go with either a Frigate, or a large Frigate, and a Royal Sloop as my fleet.

and yeah, the music is great, so are the details - little dolphins jumping out of the water, sound effects of wind and creaking wood, etc. etc. Great game. Still not tired of it. In fact I'll probably try to play it tonight some.

I agree with that. You never have to use moves other than thrust. Plus I hate the fact that you always had to fight battles on land. On the old Mac game you used to be able to bombard the shit out of a fortress, and then land and attack.
