Yeah, well I just saw on tv that we smashed Mexico and narrowly lost to Cuba. All this splendour despite the fact we have no baseball fields.

Apparently this is about 3 minutes drive from my place. :hmmm:

I'm sure i've probably seen it several times but I'm not always the most observant person getting around.

The home of the Melbourne Devils or something like that. First thing I found when searching for melbourne baseball fields.

Funnily enough, when making my original post the only baseball game I could recall having seen in the last decade was a couple of weeks ago while driving down Elgar Rd. But it was young kids playing in the west corner of that field, using jumpers for bases.

I used to play squash weekly in the building on the right of that pic and occassionally tennis on the grass courts that look like MS Paint squares above. But I never knew there was a baseball field there.
