A Couple Shots From This Weekend

A buddy of mine was doing a tracking event so I took some pics. His car is pretty quick. Other than a cat-back exhaust, he's done no power mods to it at all. A lot of handling mods, though. He's running 265 track tires (Kuhmo I think) all around because they were on clearance, but when they wear out he's going to do 285 ot 295s on the back. The car is gutted, has corner-balanced coilovers, and the spoiler (don't laugh, it helps. The car still gets a little tailhappy which is why he has an LSD on order. He takes it off when not on the track). I went for a ride and it sticks really well. He was running mid 1:46's with me in the car around Mid-O pro-course (w/ bus stop before keyhole).

I really love Mid-Ohio. It's one of the best road courses in the US. It actually has good facilities and is very up to date. There are also several good places to watch from. I don't know why it couldn't be on some more video games.

Oh man, a GT5 or Forza 3 with Mid-Ohio would make me giddy. Are there any games that have it?

No console games that I know of. Dodge would probably know on the PC game side. They need a console game that is all amateur racing like SCCA or NASA, and you can choose the class you want to race in, what region you want to race in, and race the tracks in that area. I would play a game like that.
