It just proves that being big name manufactures does not guarantee success. BMW, Honda and Toyota all notable makers with little success as full race teams. It's odd because as engine suppliers both Honda and BMW in the past did quite well especially Honda in the 80's but BMW was not shit back then. I'd like to see these makers at least stay on as engine and maybe transmission suppliers.
It's too bad they too are going to leave F1, the global recession (on its way to become a depression) massive drop in auto sales combined with not so clear future for F1's direction I guess keeps the bean counters up at night.
