Why do the Patriots suck now? I know they lost alot of guys on defense, but the best Tom Brady and Co. could put up against the Jets is 3 field goals? And they barely beat the fucking Bills last week.

I don't know...I don't recall any big subtractions to their offense. I know Welker was out with a hurt knee, but I think much of the rest of their offense carried over from last year. They've had some subtractions on defense that may hurt, but that doesn't explain scoring 9 points.

I love how Dallas just tried to do the "call a timout the millisecond before the kicker's foot hits the ball to score the game winning field goal" and lost anyway.

And they play the Falcons next week. It's at home, but the Falcons aren't a slouch team this year.

Yeah that FG timeout thing is bullshit. I think if the kicker makes the FG anyway, he should be allowed to trot over to the opposing team's sideline, and kick their coach square in the balls.

the pats played like shit. the offensive line wasn't terrible, either. team just fucked shit up.

Drew Brees is definitely the QB to watch right now, but I wouldn't say Peyton and Tom are washed up.

I haven't seen much of Brady to make an assessment. Manning was certainly off on his first game, but the Monday nighter he was doing pretty well. Accuracy overall was down, but he threw over 300 yards for two TDs, and made the throws that needed to be made, including the 80-yard TD on the very first play. Pretty good considering how depleted the receiver corps is compared to last year. If the defense could have gotten Miami off the field, he could have done even more.

That Cinci and Pitts game was really good. Cinci came back from 13 down to get a TD & a two-point conversion in the last 15 seconds. AND, prior to getting that TD they converted on two fourth downs. Good shit.

That Vikings ending was pretty sweet too. Of course, my 49ers fan buddy probably doesn't think so.

And yea, the Lions winning leaves a nice slot for the Browns to be the worst team in the league... or ever. Fuck they are just horrid.
